POLICE

* Westminster: A Sullivan Avenue resident reported that someone stole his Huffy 18-speed mountain bike from his house Saturday. He estimated the loss at $200.

A resident of Coon Club Road told police that someone scratched the passenger's side of his auto while it was parked at Cranberry Mall Friday. He estimate damage at $300.

A Baltimore Boulevard resident reported that someone stole a large toolbox from his vehicle while it was parked at Cranberry Mall Friday. He estimated his loss at $569.

A resident of Johahn Drive reported that someone stole her jacket from the coat area of the public library on East Main Street Friday. She estimated its value at $120.

An official of Rhoten Printing on East Green Street told police that the company's sign and the two chains holding it were stolen Friday. The loss was estimated at $45.

A Public Works Department employee reported that someone broke a window of a city building with a BB pellet Feb. 28. The damage was estimated at $350.

FIRE

* Westminster: Westminster and Reese firefighters responded to a house fire in the 400 block of Grove Lane at 8:23 a.m. Sunday. Units were out for 40 minutes.

Firefighters from Westminster and New Windsor were dispatched to a chimney fire in the 1300 block of Woodland Circle at 7:06 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 44 minutes.
