Warm weather is right around the corner, and with the coming of spring comes the project of spring housecleaning. After you've cleaned out all those closets and drawers, what are you going to do with all those clothes you've outgrown, those collectibles you no longer need? Why not sell them at the North County High School PTSA's flea market? This event will take place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. April 8, at North County High School, 10 E. 1st Ave. in Ferndale. Tables are available for $15. Information: 761-3935.

During the Lenten season, Brooklyn Heights United Methodist Church, 110 Townsend Ave., will offer Sunday Lenten supper programs. This year a series of programs has been planned for Sundays from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Each evening will begin with a simple supper. This week's program, sponsored by the worship committee, is titled "Sheep and Shepherds" and will offer a discussion on why we are called sheep and why God is called our shepherd.

Brooklyn Park High School's Class of 1975 is looking for classmates to volunteer their time to help organize their 20-year reunion. If you are interested in helping, call 789-5886 or 789-5270.

Belle Grove Improvement Association will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Belle Grove Elementary School, 4502 Belle Grove Road. All community members are invited to attend.

The story time sessions at the Brooklyn Park Library, 1 E. 11th Ave., begin at 7 p.m. tomorrow and at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Children ages 2 through 6 are invited to attend.

Stories, music, flannel-boards, finger plays and crafts will be offered.

HTC Park Elementary School will be the site of a children's fashion show at 6 p.m. Friday.

Students will model the latest spring styles provided by Kids R Us. Ticket prices are adults $3 and children under 12 $1.50. There will be door prizes and refreshments.

The event is being sponsored by the Parent Teacher Organization.

Attention parents. The county Department of Recreation and Parks now offers a school-age child care program at Belle Grove Elementary School, 4502 Belle Grove Road.

Programs are offered before and after school. Children ages 5 through 12 can participate in indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, study time, individual and group activities and special events. For more information or to register, call 222-7856.

* Belle Grove students are selling the "World's Finest Chocolate Candy Bars." Be sure to buy some.

North County High School sophomores are now selling Easter items to help raise money for their class budget. Items being sold include chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, cookies, stuffed animals, flower seeds and assorted novelties. Be sure to browse through an order book from any sophomore student, or call the school at 222-6970.

* The Winter Sports Banquet will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Michael's Eighth Avenue. Tickets are $8 per person and can be purchased during all lunch periods March 13 and 14.

The Arundel Improvement Association will sponsor a St. Patrick's Day party from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. March 20 at the Association Hall, 705 Cross St. Music will be provided by M & M, and hot platters will be available. Tickets are $7. For more information, call 789-2192.

Harbor Hospital Center's next Super Baby Sitter Course will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the hospital's Gruehn Building.

The class is designed for beginning baby sitters and children who help their parents with child care responsibilities. Sitters learn how to administer first-aid for burns, bleeding, head injuries, bites and stings. They also learn how to recognize potential safety hazards, prevent and treat poisonings, select appropriate toys, games and activities, and bathe, diaper and handle infants.

Comprehensive instructional materials and lunch are included in the $20 registration fee. Space is limited. The registration deadline is March 6.

* The first in the 1995 Harbor Heart Talk series is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. March 14 in the Gruehn Auditorium. A registered dietitian will lead the discussion. Heart-healthy refreshments will be served.
