Yale withstands Delaware rally for 10-9 victory

SALISBURY — Tom Zaccagnino scored four goals and Yale survived a furious Delaware rally, as the No. 20 Bulldogs edged the 18th-ranked Blue Hens, 10-9, in a nonconference men's lacrosse game yesterday at Loyola's Curley Field.

2 Travis Cheatham scored four goals for Goucher.

St. Mary's 14, Rand. Macon 8

ST. MARY'S CITY

ST. MARY'S CITY -- David Wenrich scored four goals and added two assists as St. Mary's (2-0) defeated Randolph Macon (0-1). Steve Spence added three goals and two assists for the Seahawks.

Ryan Traynor led the scoring for Randolph Macon with four goals and one assist. Matt Madsen had 15 saves for the St. Mary's and Mike Norris had 21 saves for Randolph Macon.
