A second person has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the slaying last October of a Joppatowne man.

Kenneth Lee Daughton, 47, of the 3000 block of Laurel Bush Road also was charged with conspiracy to commit murder and is being held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center, XTC a sheriff's spokesman said.

The man's girlfriend, Luana Lynn Gill, 34, of the 700 block of Farnham Place in Bel Air was arrested on identical charges Tuesday.

Charging documents for both showed that sheriff's investigators believe Ms. Gill and Mr. Daughton planned the Oct. 29 shotgun slaying of Michael Cory Allendorf, 31, of Joppatowne.
