Warfield's shooting helps Morgan past UMES, 81-78 MEAC WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT

Kaira Warfield shot 13-for-25 from the field and scored 31 points to lead Morgan State to an 81-78 victory over UMES in the first round of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball tournament.

Tunya Brown led UMES (4-23) with 28 points.

Tanya Williams contributed 19 points for the Golden Bears (5-21).
