BURGLARY: Southern District -- A compact disc player, turntable, stereo receiver and two speakers, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Tuesday from a home in the 1000 block of Cherry Hill Road.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Two extension ladders valued at nearly $200 were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 4100 block of Groveland Ave.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who stole a circular saw, valued at more than $100, from a house in the 3900 block of W. Garrison Ave. on Tuesday.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a former employee of a business in the 2600 block of Sisson St. who assaulted his employer with a chair Tuesday morning after learning he had been fired. The victim suffered head and neck injuries but declined medical attention.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1994 Dodge with dealer tags 1A03908 was stolen Tuesday from Cook Motor Cars Ltd. in the 300 block of E. 25th St.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Property valued at more than $400 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 700 block of Homestead Ave.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A VCR valued at $200 was stolen from a house in the 800 block of E. 34th St. on Tuesday.

THEFT: Northern District -- A purse containing cash and other property, all valued at more than $100, was stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Buick parked in the 3300 block of N. Calvert St.

LARCENY FROM AUTOS: Northern District -- Property valued at more than $700 was stolen Tuesday from several cars parked on Midvale, Longwood and Edgevale roads and in the 5200 block of Roland Ave. The stolen items included a VCR, portable telephone and a policeman's hat.

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- A 25-inch television set, valued at $400, was stolen Tuesday from a truck parked on German Hill Road at 48th Street.

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- Tools and stereo equipment, all valued at $5,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1600 block of Four Georges Court.

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Jewelry of unknown value was stolen Tuesday from a townhouse in the 200 block of Tadmore Court.

ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- A woman reported Tuesday that RTC she was robbed Friday of property valued at $165 on Perring Parkway at East Joppa Road by an armed man who gave her a ride from Edmondson Avenue.

RAPE: Garrison Precinct -- Police were seeking a man who raped a woman several times between Dec. 28 and Feb. 27 in a dwelling on Pittston Circle. The suspect is known by the victim through friends.
