SCHOOL THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered two rooms in the gymnasium at the Poly-Western High Schools complex in the 1400 block of E. Cold Spring Lane over the weekend and stole $60 and a pair of bolt cutters.

THEFT: Northern District -- A coat valued at $100 was stolen from a 1991 Nissan parked in the 2500 block of Maryland Ave. Monday by someone who broke a rear side window.

THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking two women who entered Sophisticated Studio of Styling in the 400 block of E. 32nd St. Monday and stole a wallet containing credit cards and other items.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke a window out of a 1991 Honda parked in the 3700 block of St. Paul St. Monday and stole three video tapes.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Police were seeking a 1991 Dodge with tags FMA 0003 that was stolen Monday from the 2600 block of St. Paul St. Monday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- An employee of a food store was about to make a night deposit at a bank in the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Monday night when a gunman forced him to give up the money. The gunman escaped with an undisclosed sum.

SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Clifton Ave. was in the 2500 block of Hilton St. Monday when a man armed with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun approached and demanded his money. When the victim told the gunman he had none, the gunman shot him in the stomach. The victim was taken to Sinai Hospital and admitted.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 5400 block of Jonquil Ave. of his wallet and $7 in the 4100 block of Rockfield Ave. Monday.

BURGLARY: Woodlawn Precinct -- Someone entered Planet Connection in the 9000 block of Liberty Road through a side window over the weekend and stole plants, a telephone, an inflatable mattress, an old-fashioned traffic light and a punching bag with the likeness of former President Ronald Reagan.

STOLEN CAR: Woodlawn Precinct -- Police were seeking a red four-door 1993 Ford Escort with tags SVM 512 and valued at $13,000 that was stolen over the weekend from the 1000 block of Charing Martin Court.

STOLEN CAR: Woodlawn Precinct -- A 1987 Nissan 300ZX with tags TLH 646 was reportedly stolen Sunday from the 8200 block of Liberty Road.

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- Police were seeking three men in a black or dark green pickup truck with a red tailgate who entered the property of Voest Alpine Inc., a metal fabricating firm the 4600 block of North Point Blvd., Monday and stole 100 rolls of stainless steel valued at $400 per roll.

THEFT/ARREST: North Point Precinct -- Police arrested a

50-year-old resident of the 1700 block of N. Broadway in the city who attempted to leave the Kmart in the 200 block of North Point Blvd. Monday without paying for four video tapes valued at nearly $75.
