Man, woman charged with prostitution

January 31, 1995

A Glen Burnie man and a Baltimore woman were arrested on prostitution charges Sunday morning after undercover officers found two people about to engage in a sex act in a Brooklyn Park parking lot, police said.

Officer Keith Light and Officer Michael Bertram were staking out the parking lot at Ritchie Highway and Tungston Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. when a 1992 Chevrolet truck stopped there. They watched the truck for about five minutes and approached the vehicle just as the woman was about to perform a sex act on the man, police said.

The woman admitted that the man had paid her $20 for the sex act and that he had picked her up in Baltimore, police said.

Jeffrey Dean Glover, 32, of the 6400 block of Freedom Drive and Shirley Ann McCoin, 34, of the 1400 block of Kuper Place in Baltimore were charged with prostitution, police said.
