Howard County police are looking for a man who held up a Columbia gas station at gunpoint and fled with cash Sunday.

Police said an armed man entered the Mobil station in the 6300 block of Dobbin Road in Owen Brown Village at 6 p.m. and demanded cash.

After the cashier complied, the man ran, police said.

The robber was described as a clean-shaven black male in his mid- to late 20s, wearing a three-quarter-length denim jacket, jeans and a black and white sweater, police said.

Anyone with information should call Howard County police at 313-2220 and the Metro Crime Stoppers Hotline at 276-8888 to qualify for a reward of up to $2,000.
