1 Lake Clifton (13-1) -- Last week's ranking: 1. Shawnta Rogers scored 24 points in an 89-69 win over Edmondson. At the First National Bank Charm City Classic at Loyola College on Friday, Ronald Byrd scored 24 in a 61-55 win over Lincoln (N.Y.), ranked No. 10 by USA Today, in the Southeast bracket first round. In the final on Saturday, Byrd had 11 in a 79-47 loss to St. Anthony's (N.J.). Next game: Wednesday against No. 4 Walbrook.

2 Dunbar (14-1) -- Last week's ranking: 2. Tommy Polley and Billy Wells each had 16 in a 83-61 win over Poly on Monday. Robert Foster had 22 in a 68-66 loss to St. Anthony's (N.J.) in the first round of the Southeast bracket at the Charm City Classic at Loyola College. Saturday in the consolation game, Polley scored 17 in a 70-58 win over Lincoln. Next game: Wednesday at Forest Park.

3 St. Frances (15-3) -- Last week's ranking: 3. Mark Karcher scored 19 points in a 77-74 loss to Laurel Baptist at the Charm City Classic on Thursday. Friday, Karcher had 17 in a 77-61 loss to St. Maria Goretti at the University of Baltimore. Next game: Tomorrow at No. 8 Calvert Hall.

4 Walbrook (11-3) -- Last week's ranking: 4. In a 71-57 loss to No. 6 Southwestern on Tuesday, Anton Jenifer had 28 points. Travone Broadway scored 34 in a 97-71 win over Edmondson on Friday. Next game: Wednesday at No. 1 Lake Clifton.

5 Southern-Balto. (6-6) -- Last week's ranking: 5. The Bulldogs lost to St. Patrick's of New Jersey, ranked No. 19 by USA Today, 81-65. Next game: Wednesday at Mervo.

6 Southwestern (10-5) -- Last week's ranking: 6. Ernie Evans scored 20 points in a 71-57 win over No. 4 Walbrook on Tuesday. Evans had 23 in a 56-49 loss to Thomas Johnson on Thursday at the Charm City Classic. Next game: Wednesday at Patterson.

7 Broadneck (13-1) -- Last week's ranking: 7. At the Charm City Classic at Loyola College on Thursday, Jason Smith had 31 points in a 66-60 win over then-No. 16 Gibbons. Smith had 19 in a 68-58 victory over North County. Next game: Tomorrow against Meade.

8 Calvert Hall (15-6) -- Last week's ranking: 8. John McKay scored 32 points in a 69-68 win over No. 16 Severn on Tuesday. At the Charm City Classic, John McKay scored 11 in a 74-43 loss to Oak Hill (Va.), ranked No. 1 in the nation by USA Today, in a Northwest bracket first-round game. In the consolation game on Saturday, Tavar Witherspoon had 18 in a 64-43 loss to Paterson Catholic (N.J.). Next game: Tomorrow against No. 3 St. Frances.

9 Randallstown (13-1) -- Last week's ranking: 9. The Rams defeated Patapsco (97-29) on Wednesday and Kenwood (100-67) on Friday. Next game: Wednesday against Franklin.
