Goucher defeats Catholic, 103-95 STATE MEN

Chad Beeten scored 20 points to lead Goucher to a 103-95 win over host Catholic in a Capital Athletic Conference men's basketball game last night.

Gerald Garlic added 16 points and David Clark scored 15 to help the Gophers.

* Frostburg State 98, Salisbury State 93: Scott Newman and Kelvin Clayton scored 22 and 20, respectively, to pace Frostburg State (12-5) past host Salisbury State (8-10).

Kyle Jefferson (Hammond) matched Newman and Clayton's combined scoring total with 42 and grabbed 15 rebounds for the Sea Gulls.
