* RAPE: Southeastern District -- A 24-year-old Block dancer was beaten and raped by four men who abducted her in front of an East Baltimore public housing development early yesterday, police said. Officer Sabrina V. Tapp-Harper, a police spokeswoman, said the woman and a man she had met after work were in the 1100 block of E. Fayette St. about 2 a.m when three other men joined them. The four men forced her to the third-floor hallway of the Lafayette Courts high-rise building at 1101 Orleans St., where they assaulted her. Officer Tapp-Harper said one of the men fired a handgun and placed the hot barrel to the victim's neck, burning her. After the victim was freed, she called police, who took her to Mercy Medical Center where she was treated for injuries and released, Officer Tapp-Harper said.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- An Arbutus woman was walking to her car on a parking lot in the 3400 block of Wilkens Ave. Wednesday when a man asked her if she needed help. The man then pulled out a handgun and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $100.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A 29-year-old resident of the 3600 block of Fairview Ave. was in the 2500 block of Garrison Blvd. Wednesday when she was assaulted by five teen-age boys who stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at less than $20.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A 24-year-old man was in the 600 block of E. 25th St. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $300 in cash and property.

Baltimore County

* PURSE SNATCHING: Woodlawn Precinct -- A woman was walking in the 7100 block of Security Blvd. Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing an undisclosed sum of money.

* ROBBERY: Woodlawn Precinct -- A 43-year-old Baltimore City man was getting out of a car in the first block of Mountain Green Circle Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, ordered him to the ground and robbed him of cash, jewelry and keys, all valued at more than $1,000.
