ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 3700 block of Crestfield Court of several rings and a pager, all valued at $430, in the 3800 block of Dolfield Ave. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of Carroll St. was sitting on an MTA bus in the 5600 block of The Alameda Wednesday when a man grabbed her leather carrying bag containing a compact disc player and several compact discs and ran off the bus. The thief was seen getting into a pickup truck, which sped off.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a GMC Jimmy parked in the 4400 block of Old York Road Wednesday and stole a radio, cam-corder and a camera, all valued at $1,000.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 700 block of Rosedale St. was in the 600 block of Poplar Grove St. Wednesday night when a man pulled out a handgun and shot him in the right leg and thigh. The gunman escaped. The victim was treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a resident of the 1100 block of Ramblewood Road in the right leg during an incident Wednesday in the 2000 block of Braddish Ave. The victim was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

THEFT: Western District -- A fax machine valued at $600 was stolen from Healthy Start Family Planning in the 1600 block of N. Carey St. Wednesday.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered an apartment in the 9300 block of Hallsboro Circle Wednesday after removing a window screen from its track and stole more than $1,500 worth of appliances and electronic equipment.

ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- A couple was about to enter their home in the 6600 block of Greenspring Ave. Wednesday night when a gunman stepped out of the shadows and demanded their money. After giving up more than $200, the gunman reportedly drove away in a Jeep Cherokee.
