Hawaii -- Promoted Bill Kanani Souza to offensive coordinator and George Lumpkin to defensive coordinator. Reassigned Ken Niumatalolo, receivers coach, to quarterback coach. Named Michael Carter receivers coach and Ulima Afoa defensive line coach.

Idaho -- Named Paul Skansi wide receivers coach, George Yarno offensive line coach and Kasey Dunn restricted earnings football coach.

Massachusetts-Lowell -- Announced the resignation of offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Richie Duncan to become the assistant coach and assistant AD at Capital.

Miami (Florida) -- Named Butch Davis football coach and signed him to a five-year contract.

Portland State -- Randy Nordlof resigned as AD to become GM of the CISL's Portland Pride.

Southern Methodist -- Named George Cortez quarterbacks coach.
