* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A couple from the 5600 block of Merville Ave. were in the 2700 block of Manhattan Ave. Monday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed them of cash and property, all valued at more than $300.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A VCR, jewelry and a compact disc player, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 400 block of Evesham Ave.

* CARJACKING: Northwestern District -- A 24-year-old motorist from the 3700 block of W. Garrison Ave. was in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. Monday when two men, one with a knife, ordered him out of his 1987 Chevrolet. After robbing him of his coat and wallet, the men locked him in the trunk. The victim was driven around for several hours before the car was abandoned on a service station lot in the 5600 block of Reisterstown Road, where passers-by heard his cries for help. He was freed without serious injury.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A deliveryman for Apex Fuel Oil Co. had finished delivering fuel to a house in the 5400 block of Price Ave. Monday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man, who implied he was armed, robbed Ahn Fragrances in the 3300 block of Ayrdale Ave. of $100 Monday.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A 22-year-old resident of the 4700 block of Whitefield Road was in the 3300 block of Lewin Ave. Monday when a gunman robbed her of a Southwestern High School ring valued at $200 and $30 in cash.


* STOLEN CARS: Towson Precinct -- Police were seeking two stolen 1992 Infinitis that were chased early Tuesday by officers on Charles Street into the city, where the pursuit was broken off near St. Albans Road. From there, city police attempted to locate the cars.

* STOLEN CAR: Woodlawn Precinct -- A blue two-door 1985 Honda Civic with tags BZP 673 and valued at $4,000 was stolen Monday from the 1600 block of Forest Park Ave.
