Students fall 2 stories through window

January 24, 1995

Two 16-year-old Howard High School students who crashed through a window and fell two stories during a shoving match yesterday morning were treated for minor injuries and released from Howard County General Hospital.

The students suffered cuts to their arms but were able to walk to the front office, where an ambulance took them to the hospital, said school spokeswoman Patti Caplan. The incident occurred about 9 a.m. on an enclosed walkway that crosses over a school courtyard.

Ms. Caplan did not know the cost of the damage to the window or whether the two students would be reprimanded. School officials are still investigating the incident.
