Josephine B. Wills Corporate officer

January 24, 1995

Josephine B. Wills, a financial corporate officer for almost 30 years, died Wednesday of chronic emphysema at St. Agnes Hospital. She was 69.

Mrs. Wills worked for Atlantic Photo Supply and a family business, Wills X-ray Supplies, in Baltimore from 1963 until her retirement in 1992. Earlier, she was an office manager for Silber's Bakery.

The former Josephine Rhinehimer moved to Baltimore during World War II after she married Robert D. Wills. The couple lived in Ellicott City for many years before moving to the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in September.

They were longtime members of the Catoctin Jim Beam Bottle Club. They had collected about 400 decanters, said their son, J. Thomas Wills of Ellicott City.

Mrs. Wills also was a member of the women's auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2562.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and son, are another son, R. William Wills of Catonsville; a sister, Evelyn Vaughn, and a brother, Chester Rhinehimer, both of Hamilton, Ohio; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian burial was offered yesterday at Charlestown.
