POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of Westminster reported to city police someone threw a rock and broke the window of a truck parked on West Main Street on Wednesday.

The damage was estimated at $50.

A resident of the 900 block of Western Chapel told state police someone broke into his house and stole two pistols between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The guns were valued at $600.

* Westminster: Westminster responded to a call of the odor of natural gas on Hook Road near Washington Road at 2:56 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 19 minutes.

Westminster responded to a call of an unusual gas-type odor on Washington Lane at 10:55 a.m. Friday. Units were out for nearly 90 minutes.

Pleasant Valley, Westminster and Reese were dispatched to a house fire in the 1100 block of Carrollyn Drive at 6:31 a.m. Friday. Units were out for 72 minutes.
