SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 15-year-old boy was shot in the face Monday night in the 2300 block of Harford Road. The youth sustained a minor graze wound and was treated at the scene by the crew of a city fire department ambulance. The victim told police he was approached by an unknown male around 7:20 p.m. who shot him once and fled. No arrest had been made and police knew of no motive for the shooting.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- A resident of the 2100 block of St. Paul St. was arguing with another man near his home Monday when the other man cut him in the abdomen with a sharp object. The victim was treated at a hospital. The assailant escaped.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who robbed a resident of the 700 block of Exeter Hall Ave. of $30 near his home Monday after striking him with a piece of wood.

THEFT/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave F & M Distributors in the 200 block of W. 29th St. Monday without paying for several compact discs reportedly valued at more than $100.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A 24-year-old resident of the 5300 block of Wesley Ave. was in the 5300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $40.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A 20-year-old female resident of the 2500 block of Park Heights Terrace was walking in the 3700 block of Dolfield Ave. Monday when two men jumped her from behind and stole her purse containing cash and property, all reportedly valued at nearly $300.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone broke the vent window of a 1987 Honda Accord parked in the 3200 block of Garrison Blvd. Monday and stole a computer, hard-drive attachment, printer, two stereo speakers, and a car jack, all valued at more than $1,000.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A gray four-door 1988 Mazda 323LX with tags WAH 275 was stolen Monday from the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered the Carrie Murray Learning Center in the 1900 block of Ridge Top Road in Leakin Park Monday by breaking a window with a rock and stole 20 sleeping bags and several Halloween masks, all valued at more than $1,000.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3400 block of Old Frederick Road Monday afternoon by removing a door from its hinges and stole a TV valued at $400.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- A pager valued at $100 was stolen from a Chevrolet truck parked at the Park & Ride lot at I-70 near Security Blvd. Monday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A 41-year-old resident of Owings Mills was in the 900 block of N. Calhoun St. early today when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his watch and $20.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking two teen-age boys, one named "Wukee" and the other "Kenneth," who allegedly attacked a 12-year-old girl in the 600 block of Appleton St. Monday and struck her with their fists before pointing a gun at her. Police said the incident involved a fight the girl reportedly had earlier with another girl.

ROBBERY: Parkville Precinct -- A resident of the first block of Duncroft Place was about to enter his apartment early Monday morning when a man placed a hard object in his back and robbed him of $100.

STOLEN CAR: Parkville Precinct -- A blue four-door 1993 Dodge Shadow with tags VAX 873 was stolen from the 1900 block of Taylor Ave. Monday.

ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Sherwood market in the 6300 block of Sherwood Road of an undisclosed sum of money Monday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- A 35-year-old resident of Dunkirk Road was at the intersection of York and Dunkirk roads Monday when two men grabbed him from behind and robbed him of his wallet containing $30.

ROBBERY: Wilkens Precinct -- A 70-year-old Catonsville-area woman was exiting her car in the 5700 block of Edmondson Ave. Monday when she was struck over the head by a man armed with a handgun who, along with another man, stole her wallet containing an unknown sum of money. Both men drove off in a mini-van.

ROBBERY: Wilkens Precinct -- Two men robbed the attendant at the Crown service station in the 4300 block of Leeds Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money Monday after one of them implied he had a handgun.


BURGLARY: Abingdon -- Someone entered a house under construction in the 3300 block of Touska Road over the weekend through an unlocked door and stole an electric range and a microwave oven, all valued at more than $600.

THEFT: Belcamp -- An AM-FM radio, amplifier, speakers and a radar detector, all valued at $1,000, were stolen from a 1994 GMC Jimmy Monday while the vehicle was parked in front of Sullivan's Graphics in the 1200 block of Belmar Drive. The thief entered the vehicle by damaging a door, causing $500 damage. The property belonged to an employee of the company.
