THEFT: Western District -- A battery valued at $50 was stolen from a 1989 Ford Escort parked Saturday on a lot at Mondawmin Mall.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking three men, one known as "Tony," another as "Ronald" and a third of unknown identification who beat a resident of the 1800 block of W. Fairmount Ave. with their hands and a stick in the 1800 block of W. Fayette St. Sunday night. The victim suffered head and eye injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A civilian employee of the city Police Department was in the 5400 block of Sagra Road Sunday when two men, one armed with a silver semiautomatic handgun, forced her to give them her purse containing her police identification card, cash and jewelry. The cash and jewelry were valued at more than $300.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the Elmwood Social Club in the 800 block of W. 36th St. Sunday morning and stole more than 300 packs of cigarettes and more than $1,000.

THEFT: Northern District -- A warrant was to be issued for the arrest of a man who entered the Super Fresh market in the 600 block of Gorsuch Ave. Saturday and stole more than $36 worth of headache medicine.

THEFT/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave F & M Distributors in the 200 block of W. 29th St. Saturday without paying for a TV remote control valued at $20. The property was recovered.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 500 block of Homestead St. was walking near his home Saturday when a gunman robbed him of a money order for $25 and a 5-ounce bottle of whiskey.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A 72-year-old resident of the 2800 block of Taney Road was assaulted in the 3000 block of Taney Road by a man who struck her over the head with a piece of wood or a metal pipe. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital for injuries to her face.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 2700 block of Garrison Blvd. of $10 Sunday while the victim was walking near his home.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Garrison Precinct -- When the occupant of a house in the 8500 block of Arborwood Road returned home Sunday night, he found the front door open and a TV set and a stereo speaker on the driveway.

BURGLARY: Garrison Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 6200 block of Deer Park Road Saturday and stole antique furniture valued at more than $1,000.

HARFORD COUNTY

BURGLARIES: Darlington -- Two homes in the 600 block of Poole Road were burglarized over the weekend and property with a combined value of nearly $700 was stolen. Coins, cash and two shotguns were stolen from one residence and a 12-gauge shotgun and $25 in coins from the other.
