Man charged in knife attack in North Laurel

A Bowie man was arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder Saturday, Howard County police said.

Frederick M. Bell, 39, is accused of cutting a friend in the face and neck with a knife during an argument in an apartment in the 9100 block of Moonshine Hollow in North Laurel, police said.

The victim, whom police would not identify, was taken to Laurel Regional Hospital.

10100 block of Route 1: An orange 1979 Ford 350F truck with Texas tags R10351 was stolen from the U-Haul lot Wednesday, police said.
