Singleton's shot leads St. Paul's, 46-45 BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP

Justin Singleton hit the winning basket with four seconds left yesterday to lead host St. Paul's (11-2) to a 46-45 victory over Archbishop Curley (6-4). Singleton scored 12 points for the Crusaders.

* Dunbar 106, Northern 68: All 14 players scored for No. 2 Dunbar (9-0) in its win over visiting Northern (3-7) in a 2A-3A division game.

Marvis Thornton led the Poets with 23 points, and Jeryl Singletary added 19 points and six assists.

* Walbrook 96, Patterson 78: Anton Jenifer scored 33 to lead No. 4 Walbrook (9-2) over visiting Patterson. Trevon Broadway and Chris Reynolds combined for 41 points.

* Southwestern 68, Edmondson 57: Ernie Evans scored 27 points, added 13 rebounds and had three blocked shots as No. 5 Southwestern (9-3) defeated visiting Edmondson.

* Broadneck 77, Severna Park 41: Jason Smith scored 21 points to lead No. 7 Broadneck (9-1) over host Severna Park (2-9).

* Randallstown 87, Perry Hall 52: Daron Ward scored 16 and Lance Anderson added 14 to move No. 9 Randallstown past host Perry Hall. The Rams opened the game with a 21-12 run.

* Oakland Mills 85, Centennial 71: Fardan Carter scored 27 and Irving Conwell and Michael Hill added 23 and 21 points, respectively, to lead host and No. 12 Oakland Mills (10-1, 3-0) over Centennial in a Howard County League game. The Scorpions made 10 three-pointers.

* Atholton 59, Hammond 37: Tyrone Allmond scored 11 and Varian Harvey added 10 as No. 13 Atholton (9-1) defeated host Hammond (3-8).

* Milford Mill 98, Towson 55: Blanchard Hurd scored 31 points and grabbed 27 rebounds to lead No. 14 Milford Mill (8-2) over visiting Towson. Keon Sellman added 19 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Millers.

* Annapolis 80, Meade 62: Ronardo Johnson scored 27 points to lead No. 15 Annapolis (8-3) over visiting Meade (3-8).

* Poly 74, City 64: Owain States scored 23 to pace No. 16 Poly (7-5) past visiting City in a Baltimore City League game.

* Old Mill 55, Northeast 46: Joe Barnes scored 13 points to lead No. 17 Old Mill (7-3) over Northeast (3-7).

* Severn 54, McDonogh 38: Dinard Melton scored 14 to pace visiting No. 19 Severn past McDonogh (4-6). Bobby Sabelhaus scored 14 for McDonogh.

* Mount Hebron 71, Glenelg 67: Kevin Tonkins scored 18 points and Curtis Jestes added 15 points as No. 20 Mount Hebron (8-3) defeated host Glenelg (7-4). Jestes has scored 1,006 for the Vikings. Damien Miles scored 20 points for Glenelg.

* Glen Burnie 76, Southern-AA 58: Desmond Dailey scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and added four steals as Glen Burnie (7-4) defeated visiting Southern-AA (4-7). Scott Crandell scored 21 for the Bulldogs.

* Dundalk 78, Lansdowne 61: Jaquay Jackson led Dundalk (9-2) with 20 points in a defeat over Lansdowne (3-7). Jackson also had seven assists.

* Pikesville 69, Hereford 67: Sam Altman scored 27 points to lead Pikesville (5-2) over Hereford. Dawan Owens added 14 rebounds and Brian Ash had 10 assists for the Panthers.

* Carver 76, Forest Park 66: Jason Johnson scored 19 points to lead Carver (3-7) over visiting Forest Park. Charles Owens scored 40 points for the Foresters.

* Douglass 89, Northwestern 65: Senior Lamar Prilliman scored 20 and grabbed nine rebounds to lead host Douglass (5-2) over Northwestern (0-6). Michael Kelly added 16 points and three blocked shots.

* Overlea 104, Chesapeake-BC 33: Troy Williams scored 26 to lead Overlea (7-1) over visiting Chesapeake-BC. Freshman Shawn Hampton added 22 points, 14 rebonds and four blocks for the Falcons.

* Franklin 62, Kenwood 54: Adam Campbell scored 18 and Johnny Davis added 15 to lead host Franklin (5-4) over Kenwood.

* Sparrows Point 73, Western Tech 32: Carnell Damon scored 22 as visiting Sparrows Point (3-5) beat Western Tech (1-6).

Zel,.2l * Park 79, St. Mary's 75: Freshman Keith Ganzenmuller scored 25, as host Park (7-2) rallied to defeat St. Mary's.

Park had trailed by nine at halftime and six after three quarters. After taking the lead with one minute left, Ganzenmuller secured the win by connecting on four straight one-and-ones.

* Woodlawn 79, Eastern Tech 68: Keion Carpenter scored 20 to lead Woodlawn (7-2) past Eastern Tech. Ryan Messercola scored 20 for Eastern Tech.

* Spalding 63, Friends 54: Charles Ross scored 19 points to lead host Spalding (5-8) over Friends.

* Bel Air 65, Harford Tech 53: Bryan Grim and Dan Opie each scored 12 to pace Bel Air (6-5) past visiting Harford Tech (5-6).

* Chapelgate 71, Perry Hall Christian 49: Chris Davidson scored 39 to lead Chapelgate (2-9) over visiting Perry Hall Christian.

Davidson connected on eight three-pointers. Tim Corbin had 25 rebounds for Chapelgate.

* Boys' Latin 91, Harford Christian 58: Wes Lovell scored 25 as Boys' Latin (9-5) defeated visiting Harford Christian (5-5).
