County police arrested a second suspect Tuesday in the Dec. 17 robbery of Busch's Chesapeake Inn, authorities said yesterday.

Damerio Thomas Herold, 22, of no fixed address was charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault with intent to rob and false imprisonment. He was arrested at the home of Everett Van Carr, 20, in the 1400 block of Shot Town Road in Arnold, police said.

Mr. Carr was arrested and charged in the same incident Dec. 23. He is being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on $2.5 million bail. Annapolis District Judge Clayton Greene reduced Mr. Herold's bail from $1.5 million to $65,000 at a bail review hearing yesterday afternoon. A preliminary hearing on reducing Mr. Carr's bail is scheduled for Jan. 19.

Two men wearing ski masks robbed the restaurant in the 300 block of Busch's Frontage Road shortly before midnight Dec. 17. The men, who were armed with sawed-off rifles, took $3,500 from the cash register and a total of $298 from five employees.
