POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of Hampstead reported to city police someone stole $125 from her purse while she was shopping at Staples office supply store at Cranberry Square on Saturday.

A resident of Buck Cash Road told city police someone stole property from the front of his house Saturday. He estimated the loss at $50.

An employee of Collectible Dolls and Bears on East Main Street told city police someone broke a pane of glass in a door, gained entry to the shop and stole a bag of money, mostly coins Saturday. The damage was estimated at $25, but the amount of the theft was undetermined.

A resident of Greenbriar Close reported to city police someone damaged the hot tub at her home Friday. She estimate the damage at $2,000.

A resident of West Main Street told city police someone broke into her house and stole property Thursday. She estimated the loss at $1,800.

An official of Faith Christian School on North Cranberry Road told city police someone stole five gallon bottles containing an unknown amount of money Thursday.

FIRE

* Westminster: Westminster engines responded to an auto fire at Routes 32 and 97 at 3:47 p.m. Sunday. Units were out for 40 minutes.

Westminster and Hampstead units were dispatched to a furnace fire in a house in the 1500 block of Brehm Road at 6:12 a.m. Sunday. Units were out for 34 minutes.

Westminster responded to an auto fire on Gorsuch Road at 10:53 a.m. Saturday. Units were out for 45 minutes.

Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester engines were dispatched for burst water pipes on Timber Ridge Drive at 6:42 a.m. Saturday. Units were out for 3 1/2 hours.
