1.Ryan Homes has opened a model of the Chandler, one of seven two-story Colonials the firm is building at Gunview Farm near Germantown in Baltimore County.

Gunview Farm is surrounded by Gunpowder Falls State Park and many of the community's 47 homes will back to the park or open space.

All the homes will have gas heat, two-car garages, unfinished basements, ventilated closet shelving, Merillat-brand cabinets, oak stair railings and crown molding in the living and dining rooms.

The Chandler has 1,961 square feet of living space and a base price of $198,900.

With a starting price of $183,900 for 1,850 square feet, the Stratford is the least-expensive home offered at Gunview Farm. It has four bedrooms, two full and one half-bath and a first-floor family room.

The largest house offered is the Vandenburg, which has 2,324 square feet and a $213,900 price tag.

The most expensive is the Lenox, which costs $219,900 for 2,261 square feet.

The model is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
