Counselor attack probe continues

January 07, 1995|By From Staff Reports

Baltimore County police reported no new leads yesterday in their search for a man who reportedly attacked a guidance counselor at Mars Estates Elementary School Wednesday and left her bound and gagged in her office.

Investigators were awaiting the results of tests on fingerprints found in Elizabeth Tourangeau's office and the duct tape used to bind her hands, mouth and legs.

Ms. Tourangeau, 35, told police it was the second time she had been attacked by the same man -- a 6-foot white male weighing 200 pounds.

In the first incident Nov. 30, she said the man knocked her to the floor and pushed a file cabinet on top of her, telling her to "stay away from my son." She said she did not know the man nor any motive.
