* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Franklin St. was in the 1900 block of Harlem Ave. Thursday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $20.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 14-year-old resident of the 3800 block of Park Heights Ave. was in the 4700 block of Greenspring Ave. Thursday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his tennis shoes valued at $60.

* PURSE SNATCH: Northern District -- A man stole a woman's purse containing cash and property, all valued at $45, as she walked near her home in the 5500 block of Craig Ave. Thursday.


* STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- A four-door maroon 1989 Toyota Camry with tags AXW 523 was stolen from the 1700 block of Murdock Road Monday, but wasn't reported until yesterday.

* ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- A gunman robbed Electronic Boutique at the Owings Mills Mall in the 10300 block of Mill Run Circle Thursday and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.

* PURSE SNATCH: Garrison Precinct -- A resident of Village Mill Court was walking near her home Thursday when a man stole her purse containing an undisclosed sum of money. During the robbery, the victim sustained minor injuries.


* THEFT/ARRESTS: Bel Air -- Two Bel Air men were arrested by sheriff's deputies Wednesday and charged with stealing property belonging to members of the C. Milton Wright High School football team during a practice session at the school in September. The property -- money, clothes, jewelry, pagers and shoes -- was stolen from unsecured gym lockers and had a combined value of $1,270. Some of the property was pawned. Charged with multiple counts of theft was Melvin Bernard Burke Jr., 25, of the 1100 block of Broadmoor Court. Charged with one count of theft was Daniel Ernest Chamberlain, 24, of the 400 block of Underwood Circle. Both men reportedly were released on their own recognizance following an appearance before a District Court commissioner.
