BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A man stole 20 cartons of cigarettes -- valued at $300 -- Wednesday from the Texaco service station in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of S. Pelham Ave. was near his home Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his black leather jacket and boots, all valued at more than $300.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 9-mm semiautomatic handgun valued at more than $400 was stolen Wednesday from a townhouse in the 7000 block of McClean Blvd.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Stereo equipment, electronic games, a TV set and other items, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2500 block of W. Fairmount Ave.

THEFT: Northern District -- A mountain bike valued at more than $100 was stolen Wednesday from outside a house in the 3600 block of Roland Ave.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Property of unknown value was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2500 block of St. Paul St.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A cassette compact disc player valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2600 block of Loyola Northway.

CARJACKING: Northwestern District -- A GI Veterans cabdriver was in the 5600 block of Haddon Ave. Tuesday night when two men, one with a knife, robbed him of more than $200 and his cab, a Ford Crown Victoria with No. 990 and tags 125G8B.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1989 Ford Taurus station wagon with tags BFR-709 was stolen Wednesday from the 3900 block of Clarks Lane.

Baltimore County

BANK ROBBERY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A man wearing a tan jacket, green turtleneck sweater, knit cap and work boots robbed the Provident Bank of Maryland in the 10700 block of Falls Road at Green Spring Station of an undisclosed sum of money Wednesday. After being given money and placing it in a brown paper bag, the man was seen running outside when a dye pack placed inside the bag exploded. The man removed the dye pack and continued running. It was not immediately known if any money was recovered.
