Diron Insley's six goals and four assists and Chris Scott's four goals and four assists led the Chesapeake Chiefs Bantam A team to the championship of the 25th annual Hershey (Pa.) Holiday Tournament.

Half of Insley's scoring came in a 5-3 victory over a Brick, N.J. team in last Friday's championship game.

The Chiefs jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first period on two goals by Insley and another by Scott. Brick tied the game in the second period. Late in that period, with the Chiefs killing a penalty, Derek Wade got a pass from Insley in his own zone and out-skated several Brick players to score what proved to be the game-winner.

Insley scored off assists from Dom DeSantis and Tim Moore early in the third period to provide the final margin.

Goalie Adam Kerner provided one of the game's turning points midway through the third period by stopping a Brick penalty shot to preserve the two-goal lead.

The Chiefs got to the championship game by tying Brick in the first round, 4-4; defeating Johnstown, Pa., 6-3, and beating tournament host Hershey, 5-1.

Scott had two goals in the first game against Brick with DeSantis and Dan Green scoring the other goals.

Wade had two goals in the Johnstown game with DeSantis, Moore, John Lee and Brian Rice each adding a goal.

Insley scored his other three goals during the Hershey game. Scott and Rice had the other Chesapeake goals in that contest.
