1 Western (7-0) -- Last week's ranking: 1. Chanel Wright scored a combined 37 points to lead the Doves to the Rotary Classic title in Altoona, Pa. Wednesday, Western defeated Holidaysburg (Pa.), 58-41. In Thursday's championship game, the Doves beat Altoona, 56-46. Next game: Friday vs. Edmondson.

2 Hammond (5-2) -- Last week's ranking: 4. The Golden Bears won the Holly Division portion of the Holly and Hoops Tournament by defeating St. Frances, 56-51, Tuesday, and Severna Park, 43-34, Wednesday. Next game: Thursday vs. Centennial.

3 Lake Clifton (4-1) -- Last week's ranking: 3. The Lakers were idle last week. Next game: Friday vs. Walbrook.

4 St. Frances (8-2) -- Last week's ranking: 2. The Panthers lost to Hammond, 56-51, in an opening-round game of the Holly and Hoops Tournament on Tuesday. St. Frances rebounded with a 57-54 win over Frederick's St. John's-Prospect Hall on Wednesday. Next game: Tomorrow at Archbishop Spalding.

5 St. Mary's (8-4) -- Last week's ranking: 5. The Saints won three games in the Noel Classic. Tuesday, Annetta Davis scored 21 in an 82-63 victory over Parkside. Wednesday, Davis had 24 points as St. Mary's beat Severn, 89-69. Thursday, Davis and Tara Foran each scored 27 in a 66-61 win over Old Mill. Next game: Tomorrow vs. Institute of Notre Dame.

6 Fallston (5-1) -- Last week's ranking: 6. The Cougars were idle last week. Next game: Tomorrow at Harford Tech.

7 Old Mill (5-2) -- Last week's ranking: 7. The Patriots won two of three games in the Noel Classic. Old Mill defeated Mercy, 66-47, Tuesday, and Spalding, 62-39, Wednesday, before Thursday's 66-61 loss to St. Mary's. Next game: Friday vs. Glen Burnie.

8 Severna Park (6-1) -- Last week's ranking: 8. In the Holly and Hoops Tournament, the Falcons edged St. John's-Prospect Hall, 61-58, in overtime Tuesday, before dropping a 43-34 decision to Hammond in Wednesday's Holly Division title game. Next game: Today at Meade.

9 South Carroll (7-1) -- Last week's ranking: 9. The Cavaliers won the Lady Cougar Invitational by beating Bishop Kearney (N.Y.), 48-39, Tuesday, and Middletown, 43-42, Wednesday. Next game: Tomorrow at Linganore.

10 Seton Keough (8-1) -- Last week's ranking: 10. The Gators won the Hoops Division of the Holly and Hoops Tournament with a 65-32 rout of C. Milton Wright on Tuesday and a 58-32 decision over Loch Raven on Wednesday. Next game: Tomorrow vs. John Carroll.

15 Zka,3Mount de Sales (7-3) -- Last week's ranking: 16. The Sailors won the Catonsville Christmas Classic with a 64-47 victory over Randallstown on Tuesday and a 59-29 rout of the host Comets in Wednesday's championship game. Next game: Tomorrow vs. Mercy.
