Group to offer course on building adoptive families

The Adoptive Family Network, a nonprofit group of volunteer adoptive families, will offer its "Building Adoptive Families" course from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays through Feb. 3 at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.

Topics include: "Moving on From Infertility," "Making the Decision to Adopt," "Where to Adopt From," "How to Get Started," "Choosing an Agency," "Domestic and International Adoptions," "Basic Adjustment Issues" and "Independent and Agency Adoption."
