HOLDUP: Central District -- The Crown service station at 1001 North Ave. was robbed at gunpoint by a black male wearing a ski mask and hooded sweat shirt at 6:20 a.m. yesterday. As a female employee was picking up the weekend's receipts, the suspect appeared at the booth and grabbed from her hand a money bag, containing $12,000.

ARMED ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men, one with a semiautomatic handgun, robbed a 33-year-old woman walking in the 3000 block of Montebello Terrace at 12:35 a.m. yesterday. One of the men said to her, "I'll kill you if you don't give it up." They made off with $74 in cash, a bag of groceries and a red leather purse. The woman was not injured. She described the suspects at black males, one about 5 feet 9 inches tall wearing a red knit cap and brown leather jacket, the other, 5 feet 5 inches tall in dark clothing.

ARMED ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Shortly after midnight, a 37-year- old man was confronted by a man pointing a handgun at him. The assailant struck the man with the gun across the forehead and fled with $4. The victim was treated at Church Hospital and released in good condition.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southern District -- A woman claiming she had a gun robbed a motorist of $10 about 3 p.m. yesterday at the corner of Lorena and West Patapsco avenues. The victim, a doctor, said the woman approached his car as he stopped at a stop sign, asked him to pay for sex and when he refused, reached inside her jacket and threatened to shoot him if he did not give her money. A suspect was arrested shortly afterward in the 2600 block of W. Patapsco Ave.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southern District -- A man claiming to have a gun robbed a woman of her purse in the 1100 block of S. Charles St. about 10 a.m. Sunday. The woman was walking south on Charles when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her by the throat and told her he had a gun. He forced her across a nearby parking lot before taking her purse and fleeing on foot south on Charles to West Street.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Round Road about 3 p.m. yesterday and took a TV set and bicycle valued at about $700. The home's occupant said she left about 3 p.m. and returned a half-hour later to find the front door unlocked and the items missing.

Baltimore County

ARSON: White Marsh Precinct -- Shortly before 9 a.m. yesterday, a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am was taken from the 5600 block of Arnhem Road, driven to an alley in the 5600 block of Utrecht Road and set on fire. The fire apparently was started with newspapers.

LARCENY: Dundalk Precinct -- On Saturday or Sunday, a lock was pried off the door of a shed at a home in the 7600 block of Dunmanway. Camouflage hunting clothing and a chain saw worth a total of $300 were taken.
