POLICE LOG

* Savage: 8200 block of Preston Court: Someone broke through a side glass door of Triangle Printing and took cash from a safe and soda machine between Wednesday and Friday.

* North Laurel: 9500 block of Whiskey Bottom Road: Someone pried open the front door of the Laurel Developmental Child Care Center and ransacked it between Wednesday and Friday. Food was eaten, and missing items included a VCR, a radio and coffee.

* Jessup: 8200 block of Main Street: A man and his wife were robbed Friday at 7 p.m. while walking to their vehicle in the parking lot behind the post office. The suspect, who brandished a small, semiautomatic handgun during the holdup, was described as a thin, 5-foot 10-inch white male in his late teens or early 20s.
