Howard County police are investigating the robbery of a Laurel hotel Thursday night by a man who said he had a gun.

No one was injured in the 10:45 p.m. robbery of the Econo Lodge in the 9700 block of Washington Blvd., police said.

A 46-year-old hotel clerk told police the man walked into the business, said he had a gun in his pocket and ordered the employee to turn over money from the cash register.
