Women's club to hold annual Holiday Health Bazaar Saturday

The Four Seasons Women's Club is having its annual Holiday Health Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Four Seasons Elementary School, 979 Waugh Chapel Road. Exhibit tables are available at $17 for a 5-foot-diameter round table and $22 for an 8-by-10-foot rectangular table. Everyone is welcome.

The Odenton Church of God, 1479 Berger St., is selling Florida citrus to be delivered Dec. 17. To order, call 551-4689 or 551-3622. The sale ends Nov. 30.

The O'Malley Senior Center, 1275 Odenton Road in Odenton, has activities every day this month. The center has aerobics, bowling, knitting, art history, swimming, open card games, woodcrafts and more. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. today the center is sponsoring a demonstration on seniors' gourmet.

North Arundel Hospital Odenton Medical Center at 1215 Odenton Road recently added a centralized phone number. From now on, (410) 672-0000 will connect you with the center's physicians and services. The medical center also has added services such as radiology, physical therapy and rehabilitation therapy.

The Odenton Elementary School PTA, 1290 Odenton Road in Odenton, is holding the Troll Book Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., today through Friday, in the conference room, and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today through Thursday. The fair will be open to parents only during conferences Nov. 21 and 22.

The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce and Odenton Elementary School also are teaming up to present a program for National Education Week from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. today at the school. Jay Bonstingl's lecture is titled "How To Build a More Capable and Competitive American Workforce Through Schools of Quality."

The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce will hold a reception to honor legislators and their assistants from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Dec. 1 at the new clubhouse at the Fort Meade Golf Club. The clubhouse is off Mapes Road at the golf course entrance.

Legislative assistants will be introduced along with the new legislators. Congressional representatives from Districts 1, 3 and state delegates and senators in Districts 32 and 33 and the county councilman for District 4 have all been invited.

Each legislator will be given a few minutes to talk about priorities for the coming year.

A continental breakfast will be served. The cost is $10 for chamber members, $20 for nonmembers. Members of any other chamber of commerce can attend and pay the same rate as West Anne Arundel members.

The Waugh Chapel Elementary School PTA needs help collecting receipts from Giant Food and Metro Food Market. The receipts can be used to get free computers and printers. The school is also collecting Campbell's soup labels. The program runs until March 3, 1995. If you have receipts or labels and would like to donate them, you can drop them off at the school or mail them to 840 Sunflower Drive, Odenton, MD, 21113.
