POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of West Green Street told city police Tuesday that the rear license tag was removed from her car while it was parked at Cranberry Mall. The loss is estimated at $10.

A Wimert Avenue resident reported to city police Tuesday he was assaulted while walking on South Center Street.

A Robbins Way resident told city police Tuesday that a bicycle was taken from the back of a truck parked near her house. The dark blue Huffy 10-speed was valued at $150.

FIRE

* Reese: Reese responded for an auto fire in the 1500 block of Old Westminster Pike at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday.

* Sandymount: Reese responded to an open 911 telephone line on Sunset Lane at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday. Units were out for 20 minutes.

* Westminster: Westminster responded to a woods fire on Hook Road near Maple Crest Drive at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday. Units were out for about three hours
