Police investigate death of man found in truck

Howard County police are investigating the death of an Ellicott City man found blocks away from his home slumped over the wheel of his truck Friday morning.

Thomas Wesley Wilson, 45, of the 10000 block of Congressional Court was pronounced dead at Howard County General Hospital shortly after 10 a.m. Friday. Police said Mr. Wilson had no signs of injury, and they did not know the cause of death.

About 10 a.m., officers responding to a property damage report arrived in the 3000 block of Boones Lane in Ellicott City, where they discovered a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer on a home's front lawn.

Rescue workers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Mr. Wilson and drove him to the hospital by ambulance.

* Ellicott City: 4600 block of Beechwood Road: Camera equipment, a computer, clothing and other property were stolen after someone broke into and searched a home Tuesday, police said.
