BALTIMORE CITY

* SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- A 42-year-old cab driver was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after being shot four times Saturday. The man, a driver for Yellow Cab, was shot about 10 p.m. in the 1600 block of Ramblewood Road after an apparent argument with two men he had picked up, police said.

* ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Three men approached a pedestrian in the 5800 block of Glenkirk Ave. moments before midnight Saturday, demanded money and fled with $340.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into a vehicle in the 4800 block of Belair Road Saturday between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and stole a ladder and tools valued at $950.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A man found a window broken and $1,000 missing from his Hollander Ridge house in the 1600 block of LilJones Court when he returned home at 12:45 a.m. yesterday.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into a car outside a residence in the 4400 block of Frankford Ave. about 10 a.m. yesterday and stole a cellular telephone.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* ARMED ROBBERY: Wilkins Precinct -- The Casual Male Big and Tall store in the 6200 block of Baltimore National Pike was robbed Saturday night by a man who first asked for a job application. The robber -- described as 25 to 30 years old and 130 pounds -- said he had a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the register.

* BURGLARY: Wilkins Precinct -- Someone entered Pizza Boli's in the 6400 block of Baltimore National Pike between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. yesterday and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

* RAPE: Garrison Precinct -- A man sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint early yesterday behind a Pikesville residence.

* ARSON: Parkville Precinct -- An Infinity financial services representative reported that someone set fire to his 1993 Infiniti Q45 automobile, valued at $30,000, outside a business in the 2900 block of Taylor Ave. shortly after midnight yesterday.

* BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- Someone broke into a shed at Parkville Senior High School in the 2600 block of Putty Hill Ave. Friday night or Saturday and stole an Easy-Go golf cart.

* BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- Someone entered a residential garage in the 1100 block of Glen Arm Road between Friday evening and 2 a.m. Saturday and stole a bicycle and a car telephone.

* BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- An IBM computer was stolen Friday night or Saturday morning from an apartment in the first block of Barnwell Court after someone pried open a rear window.

* ARSON: Dundalk Precinct -- Someone set a minor fire at the unoccupied Old Mill Tavern in the first block of Maryland Ave. about 6 p.m. Saturday. The amount of damage was undetermined.

* THEFT: Dundalk Precinct -- A soft top was stolen from a Jeep parked behind a residence in the 6700 block of Woodley Road Saturday morning.
