* Navy's football team scored its most decisive victory yesterday over Notre Dame in its 18-game series by a score of 32-13. Navy's line play made the difference. Its offense was headed by Clyde "Smack-over" Scott. -- The Sun, Nov. 5, 1944.

* The Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County '' moved today to exercise for the first time zoning authority delegated to it by the last session of the legislature. The first action in which they propose to establish a restricted residential and agricultural farming area is at Edgewater Beach on the South River. -- The Sun, Nov. 10, 1944.

* The Navy Department announced yesterday that the Army-Navy football game scheduled for Dec. 2 will be shifted from Annapolis to Baltimore. A crowd of nearly 70,000 is expected with tickets selling for $4.80 on a first-come, first-served basis. -- The Sun, Nov. 18, 1944.
