Chicago Cubs -- Named Brian McCann assistant trainer and Keith Champion advance scout.

Chicago White Sox -- Signed C Barry Lyons to a minor-league contract and invited him to spring training.

Cincinnati Reds -- P Erik Hanson refused assignment to Triple-A and chose free agency.

Kansas City Royals -- Named Mitchell Page first base coach.

New York Yankees -- Signed P Scott Bankhead to a one-year, $500,000 contract that includes incentives that could double his salary.

St. Louis Cardinals -- Named former Oriole Dyar Miller pitching coach of Triple-A Louisville.

San Diego Padres -- Announced that bench coach Rob Picciolo and pitching coach Sonny Siebert will return for the 1995 season.
