Magliano scores 3 goals in 1st half, Severna Park routs Woodlawn, 7-0

Senior Holly Magliano, who only played in the first half, scored three goals and had an assist to help Severna Park (13-0) beat visiting Woodlawn (2-9), 7-0, in a Class 4A East region semifinal.

Severna Park will play host to Chesapeake-AA in the region championship tomorrow.

* Towson 2, Loch Raven 1: Monica Heddings and Leslie Finn each scored as host Towson won a shootout, 2-1, to win the Class 2A North region semifinal game. Kathy Gibbons accounted for Towson's goal during regulation.

* Fallston 3, Chesapeake-BC 0: Nicole Taylor scored a goal and added an assist in Fallston's (13-0) Class 2A North region victory over Chesapeake (6-6-1).

* Bel Air 3, Parkville 2: Amie Wang's goal with 10 minutes left boosted Bel Air (11-2) past visiting Parkville (7-5) in Class 3A East region game. It marked the first time this season Bel Air won a game when the opposition scored.

* Centennial 4, Linganore 0: Emily Ward scored three goals in the victory over the Lancers, the defending state Class 3A co-champs, in a North region semifinal.

If the top-seeded Eagles (13-0) beat South Carroll in the region final tomorrow, they would make their first appearance in the state semifinals since 1982.

* South Carroll 1, Mount Hebron 0: Carli Benham scored on an assist from Allison Cain as host South Carroll won a Class 3A North region semifinal.

* Westminster 3, Dulaney 0: Kristy Matthai scored the first of her two goals just 1:20 into the game, and second-seeded Westminster held visiting and third-seeded Dulaney to only one shot on the way to a victory in a Class 4A North region contest.

* North Carroll 1, Damascus 0: Senior Amber Bosley scored the game's only goal to give the fourth-seeded and visiting Panthers (9-3-1) the win over the top-seeded Hornets. The Panthers will travel to second-seeded Liberty tomorrow for the region championship.

* Liberty 4, Rockville 3: Amy North, Jessica Horneman and Debbie Bourke scored in overtime as host Liberty (10-3) defeated Rockville in a shootout in Class 2A West region action.

* F. S. Key 4, Owings Mills 0: Holly Talbert and Laure Ryer each scored twice to help host Francis Scott Key (7-6) defeat Owings Mills in a Class 1A West region game.

* Franklin 1, Kenwood 0: Christine Ho scored the only goal in Franklin's (9-3-1) win over Kenwood (6-5-2) in a Class 3A East region game.
