Paige Young and Kristen McLewee scored goals, helping third-ranked Dulaney (12-0) to a 2-1 victory over co-No 1 Loch Raven (12-1) yesterday for its eighth Baltimore County girls soccer title in 10 years.

The win extended Dulaney's winning streak to 16 games, while ending Loch Raven's at 20.

After Ali Schuch got tripped in the goalie's box, McLewee beat goalie Terri Hendricks to her right on the ensuing penalty kick to make it 2-1 with 11:08 remaining.

The Lions had outscored opponents, 84-2, going into the game.

Dulaney broke on top with 18:03 left in the first half when Amy Jakobe got the ball in the corner, dribbled toward the middle and passed in front to Young, whose shot hit the bottom of the crossbar and bounced in to make it 1-0.

Midway through the second half, Loch Raven tied the game at 1 when Nicole Froman popped a pass over a defender to Kim Allen, who scored from in front of the goal with 23:12 to play.
