October 27, 1994

A Severna Park woman told county police that someone climbed through an unlocked bathroom window of her house Monday morning and stole property worth more than $3,000, authorities said yesterday.

Dina Lee Weavers, 48, told police the theft happened between 9:10 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. The thieves climbed on to a deck in the back of her home and boosted themselves up to the window, police said.

The most expensive items taken were two video cameras worth a total of $1,700. A video cassette recorder, stereo equipment, jewelry, cash and foreign currency also were stolen, police said.

The thieves left by the front door, which Ms. Weavers found unlocked when she returned home, police said.
