2 charged with possession of drugs

Howard County officers arrested two people after finding evidence of crack cocaine, marijuana and smoking pipes at a Hickory Ridge home Friday night, police said.

Officers stormed the home at 9:15 p.m. Friday and charged two occupants with possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

A District Court judge reduced the $2,500 bond of Beverly Ann Harmon, 39, of the 10700 block of Hickory Ridge Road, to $1,000 yesterday, as she watched on a monitor from the Howard County Detention Center.

Robert Eugene Ferron, 37, of the 5300 block of Harpers Farm Road, Harper's Choice, was released on $500 bond soon after his arrest.


* Dorsey's Search: 5600 block of Columbia Road: A Honda Accord was reported stolen Friday, police said.

* Harper's Choice: 6100 block of Turnabout Lane: A microwave was stolen after someone entered a vacant apartment through an unlocked door Friday, police said.
