POLICE LOG

* Ellicott City: 3200 block of Normandy Woods Drive: Someone entered a home and stole cash and rings Thursday between 10:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.

4700 block of Bonnie Branch Road: Someone kicked in a side window of a home and stole two VCRs Thursday between 7:50 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

* Elkridge: 6600 block of Route 1: A 35-year-old man said that he was robbed by two people after he got into a van with them Thursday at 1:30 a.m. The victim believes that one of them had a gun. The vehicle was a 1992 or 1993 light blue Dodge Caravan.

700 block of Montgomery Road: Someone broke through a window to the side of the front door of a home and searched the bedrooms Wednesday between 8:10 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Missing items included jewelry, cash, credit cards, silverware, a camcorder and leather coats, police said.
