A Baltimore woman was arrested Wednesday outside the Hecht's store at Marley Station and charged with shoplifting five men's suits, county police said.

Pamela A. Nuclo, 31, of the 2900 block of Arunah Ave. was charged with theft over $300, police said.

A store security officer told police he saw a woman take suits and hide them with a shopping bag as she walked out of the store shortly after 5 p.m. The security officer stopped the woman and held her until a Northern District officer arrested her, police said.

The suits were worth $1,750, police said.

Shoplifting charge filed against woman

Northern District police arrested a Baltimore woman Wednesday afternoon and charged her with shoplifting from a Montgomery Ward store in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway, authorities said.

Denise Fiorini, 30, of the 2300 block of Washington Blvd. was charged with theft under $300, police said.

A store security officer told police he noticed a woman put two coats over her arm and leave the store shortly before 3:30 p.m., passing four working cash registers.

The security officer stopped and questioned the woman and found she had no receipt for the garments, which were worth $220, police said.

The suspect was detained by the security officer until a Northern District patrolman took her into custody, police said.
