BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1100 block of Haverhill Road through a door #F Wednesday and stole a VCR, jewelry, a hand-painted plate and cash, all valued at more than $4,000.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2700 block of Hafer St. was in the 300 block of S. Catherine St. Wednesday when he was assaulted by a man who stole his flight jacket, reportedly valued at $34.

ROBBERY/ABDUCTION: Northern District -- A 17-year-old boy was robbed of his paycheck and jacket Wednesday by two men, one with a handgun, in the 4000 block of Falls Road who then drove him to the Pimlico area, where he was forced from the vehicle.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of Cedarcroft Road through a bathroom window Wednesday and stole two VCRs.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A silverware set valued at $12,000, a silver cigar case, a diamond and saphire ring and other property, all valued at more than $17,000, were stolen from a house in the first block of Woodlawn Road Wednesday by someone who entered after breaking a window.

Baltimore County

BANK ROBBERY: Woodlawn Precinct -- A man robbed the Nations Bank in the 7100 block of Security Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Wednesday after telling a teller he had a bomb. After entering the bank at 12:40 p.m., the man gave a teller a note that read: "I have a bomb under my shirt. Give me all the 50s and 100s in five seconds." After he was given money, the man left the bank counting the money. An off-duty city police officer inside the bank witnessed the robbery and followed the man outside a few minutes later but was unable to locate him.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A diamond ring valued at ** $7,000 was stolen from a desk drawer inside a house in the 14000 block of Greencroft Lane Tuesday by someone who entered without leaving any signs of force.

STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- A silver four-door 1988 Acura Legend with tags DHG 637 and valued at $12,000 reportedly was stolen from the 1200 block of Putty Hill Ave. Wednesday.
