THEFT: Northeastern District -- Stereo speakers and an amplifier, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Tuesday from a car parked in the 1500 block of Homestead St.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Property valued at nearly $400 was stolen from the Hamilton Middle School in the 5600 block of Sefton Ave. between Oct. 12 and Oct. 18.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 17-inch mountain bike valued at more than $400 was stolen Monday from the front porch of a house in the 6000 block of Burgess Ave.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A 13-inch TV set and a food blender, all valued at $140, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2600 block of Bannister Ave.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- A resident of the 5200 block of Alhambra Ave. was assaulted Tuesday by a man sitting on his porch. When the victim asked the man to get off his porch, the man struck the victim in the head with a bottle, causing an injury to his left eye. The victim refused medical treatment.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at more than $600 was stolen Monday from Mercury Paging in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Peanut" who broke into a house in the 4900 block of Denmore Ave. Tuesday and stole two dogs -- a pit bull and a Rottweiler.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Woodlawn Precinct -- Police were seeking two '' teen-age boys who broke into a house in the 1000 block of Markworth Road Tuesday and stole two rifles and a shotgun, valued at more than $700.

BURGLARY: Woodlawn Precinct -- A burglar stole $100 Tuesday from Precision Tune in the 6200 block of Baltimore National Pike.

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- A Winchester 12-gauge shotgun valued at $300 was stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 2000 block of Bear Ridge Road.

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Tools valued at more than $3,500 were stolen Tuesday from a construction trailer in the 8100 block of Perry Hills Court in Perry Hall.

STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- A 1992 Honda Prelude with tags ATA 390 was stolen Tuesday from the 6900 block of Lachlan Circle.
