Miscavich gets award from Md. Realtors

The 1994 Distinguished Sales Associate of the Year award was recently presented to Charlotte Miscavich of Davidsonville by the Maryland Association of Realtors at their annual convention.

According to the association, the award recognizes outstanding achievement in the real estate industry by sales associates who demonstrate "the highest degree of professionalism and provided dedicated service to the community."

Ms. Miscavich is associated with REMAX-100 in Bowie and holds a Graduate, Realtor Institute designation (GRI) and the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Leadership Training Graduate

(LTG) designations.

2 associates complete post licensing course

Priscilla Foti and Andrea Harrison, sales associates with the Annapolis office of Weichert Realtors, recently graduated from the company's Academy of Real Estate post licensing course.

The academy offers extensive training focusing on financing, marketing, listings and sales. Associates enroll in the three-week program after completing the required state licensing course for residential real estate sales.

Minority business committee honors 6

The Anne Arundel County Minority Business Enterprise XTC Committee recognized six local businessmen and women at a recent awards program held in Annapolis.

The following honorees were: George Phelps of Phelps Protection Systems of Annapolis; Godfrey Blackstone of Annapolis Liquors; Tariq Niazi of Macey's Corner Exxon in Severna Park; Helen Chambers of Little VIP Learning Center in Annapolis; Sang U Kwak of K&S Cleaners in Odenton; and Robert Hill of Bay State Computers in Crofton.
