Jennifer Glass, a sales associate with Long and Foster Real Estate's Westminster office, has been honored as Realtor of the Year by the Carroll County Association of Realtors.
Ms. Glass, a seven-year real estate professional, has earned the Graduate Realtor's Institute and the Certified Residential Specialist degrees of advanced real estate education.
A resident of Westminster for 13 years, Ms. Glass has been honored as the 1993 Carroll County Distinguished Sales Associate and the 1993 Outstanding Realtor Educator.
Carroll bank named certified lender
Carroll County Bank and Trust Co. has been named a certified lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Charles J. Gaston, SBA district director, recently presented the designation to Thomas K. Ferguson, president and chief executive officer of the bank.
The bank won the designation based on its past and projected volume of activity, its rate of loan approvals as a percentage of loan guaranty requests submitted, its number of loans purchased by SBA under its guaranty, and its level of commitment to the SBA program.
